Joel Flachs

Joel Flachs, the founder of J and R Investments, is a real estate developer, investor, and sponsor with over thirty years’ experience.

Having had a hand in every stage of development and management, Joel’s resume in the industry is impressive. It includes the locating of, raising of equity for, management of, and partnership in seven office buildings, two shopping centers, fifteen industrial buildings, and more than 400 apartment units. Joel currently owns and manages approximately 1.5M SF of commercial real estate.

The list goes on: Joel’s development experience includes the construction of the Highland Plaza, a 73,000 SF office building in Pennsylvania; the acquisition and expansion of two other commercial buildings in Pennsylvania; the ground-up development of two self-storage facilities in Arizona; and the redevelopment of two historic high-rises in Tulsa, OK.

Tim Strange

Rose Rock Development, Oklahoma City, OK

Tim Strange is a commercial real estate professional with over thirty years’ experience in business, real estate brokerage, and ownership who offers invaluable wisdom and insight to the team. He has been involved in multiple real estate private equity syndications, including ground-up developments. As a general partner, Tim has also collaborated on the acquisition and development of twenty properties, including office, industrial, multi-family, and GSA|VA leased buildings, with an aggregate as-completed value that exceeds $100,000,000.

Tim has moved into various leadership roles and currently serves as the Chairman of Rose Rock Development Partners, a full-service real estate development company. Through that position, he is currently participating in multifamily projects in Tulsa and a large mixed-use project in Oklahoma City.

Tim is a graduate of Southern Methodist University. He lives in Oklahoma City and is deeply involved in the local community, where he serves on numerous non-profit boards and is the past president of the Rotary Club of Oklahoma City.
