Mark V. Phillips

Partner

Since 1978, Mark Phillips has been building up an impressive body of work in real estate with experiences that span construction, development, investment, and over 30 years in commercial real estate brokerage. Mark has also been involved in multiple real estate private equity syndications, including ground-up developments and multifamily projects. His feats include the creation of a powerful partnership that resulted in two funds which secured over $70M in properties leased to the federal government.

As a contractor, Mark brought creative vision to the development of residential subdivisions and repurposed sites. For example, he successfully engineered the purchase and renovation of Teller’s Mill, a former cigar factory in Sellersville, PA, which he remodeled into residential condos. Mark personally saw to the preservation of the iconic building by ensuring its certification to the National Register of Historic Places. As commercial broker, he has transacted nearly $1B in sales working for national firms such as Colliers International; Sperry Van Ness; and Newmark Grubb Levy Strange Beffort, an affiliate of Newmark Knight Frank.

Today, Mark is as industrious as ever – he is currently involved in over $100M in development projects through various partnerships, including three self-storage projects, two historic tax credit multifamily conversions, and the ground-up development of 250 residential apartment units.  Mark attended Temple University and has multiple degrees from the School of Hard Knocks.
