Strategic Development Group Sells Happy Valley Self-Storage

Phoenix, Arizona: May 14, 2019 – Strategic Development, LLC, is proud to announce the sale of Happy Valley Self-Storage in the Deer Valley market of Phoenix, Arizona. The property is situated within Happy Valley Crossroads: a retail development located just east of 19^th Avenue on Happy Valley Road.

The 80,000 square foot facility was built on just over two acres of land and includes over 550 rentable units. The facility contained both drive-up and climate-controlled spaces, with unit sizes ranging from 25 square feet up to 300 square feet. The building, designed by ARC Services Inc., was built uniquely with the specific needs of this site and the surrounding uses in mind. Its features include a large covered loading area; wide, well-lit interior corridors; and a state-of-the-art security system.

In partnership with their consultants, Strategic Development Group completed the project on time and on budget in 2018. The building was delivered in May of 2018 and was sold at over 62% occupancy to Smart Stop Self Storage.

Feasibility consulting, construction management, and property management services were provided by 180 Self-Storage, LLC, an award-winning self-storage consulting company based in Gilbert, AZ.
